COMMUNITY INFRASTRUCTURE:

Wells Repair Projects African SMILEWell Repair Project Access to clean water is vital for the survival of Nkungi Village.  African SMILE has been working with Friends and Family to install plumbing, septic systems, and water filtration systems.  While all homes in Nkungi now have filtration systems the people must still carry water from community wells.  Currently many of the wells are not functioning.  The cost to repair all existing wells is $5,000 (USD).
